Vincere
Vincere is part of The Access Group, which announced its acquisition of Vincere on 6 January 2022 in its own newsroom.
For what Vincere costs, ask Vincere. The figure worth having is the one they put in writing for your headcount, with what it includes, what an additional user costs, and what it does at your headcount in three years. Put that figure beside the table on the right and the comparison is yours to make.

What survives a migration is decided by what your current system can produce, not by what the destination can read. The discovery step establishes that before you commit to anything.

Interface configuration
Custom fields map to fields. Screen layouts, saved views and dashboards are rebuilt in Recruited rather than carried over, because they describe a different interface.

Communications metadata comes across. Your mailbox reconnects to Recruited and syncs forward from the day you authorise it.

Nothing goes live until you have opened samples next to their source and approved the counts, category by category.

Discovery, under confidentiality

You run the export
Written instructions and a list of the objects we expect to see. We never ask for your Vincere login.

Staging and mapping
Files land in isolated staging with an expiry. You see the field-by-field mapping before you approve it.

Dry run
Every row that could not be mapped, with the reason. Fix the mapping and run it again; rows update rather than duplicate.

Reconciliation
Records exported against records created, per category, side by side. You pick the samples.

Cutover, then deletion evidence
You go live on a date you set. Staging files are deleted on the agreed schedule and you get evidence of it.

What does Vincere cost?
Ask Vincere. The only figure worth comparing is the one they give you in writing, for your headcount, with what it includes and what it costs to add a user. Recruited publishes its prices: Basic is A$249/month excluding GST with 1 user included, and Pro is A$599/month excluding GST with 3 users included.
Who owns Vincere?

Can I export my data out of Vincere?
That is a question for Vincere and your agreement with them, and it is the first thing to establish. Our discovery step is about exactly this: what your export produces, in what format, and what is in it. Everything else follows from the answer.
How long does the migration take?
It depends on the size and state of the database and on how quickly the export can be produced. The dry run and the reconciliation are the steps worth taking slowly, because they are the ones that catch a problem while it is still cheap to fix.
Do you need access to our Vincere account?
No. You run the export and send us the files. We do not ask for your login to any system, and a migration that requires handing over a credential is a migration you should question.
What happens to the files afterwards?
Staging is isolated from every workspace, files expire on an agreed schedule, and you receive evidence of the deletion. Your records are not used to train a model that serves another customer.
What if we start and change our minds?
You can stop at any point before cutover, and nothing has changed in your current system because nothing was ever taken out of it. You also keep full export from Recruited afterwards, on every plan, so the same question is answerable in the other direction.
