Service status

How we tell you when something is wrong.

Incident updates go by email to every workspace admin. This page sets out what an agency receives, when, and how anyone, agency, employer or candidate, reaches a person while it is happening.

During an incident

What we tell you, and when.

  1. We tell you before you have to ask

If the service is degraded or down for more than a few minutes, every workspace admin gets an email.

  2. We say what is affected

Which part, what still works, and whether anything you did during the window needs redoing.

  3. We update while it is open

At least hourly, even when the update is that we are still working on it.

  4. We tell you when it is over

And what, if anything, you need to check at your end.

  5. We write it up

For anything that lost data, lost time or lasted more than an hour: what happened, why, and what changed. Sent to affected customers.

Right now

How to reach us if something is wrong.

Something is broken

Email support@recruited.com.au with what you were doing and roughly when. The time is what lets us find your request in the logs.

Something is a security issue

Email security@recruited.com.au instead. It reaches the people who can act on it, and it does not sit in a support queue behind a password reset.

What you can check yourself

Two things that do not need us.

  • Your own job pages

They are public. If one loads for you, that part of the platform is serving traffic.

  • Whether it is only you

A different network or browser separates “the service is down” from “something local is wrong”, and it is the first question we would ask anyway.

Status

Tell us twice rather than not at all.

A report that turns out to be nothing costs a few minutes. A problem nobody mentioned costs a placement.

We reply within one Australian business day.
